The show was very good, thoroughly enjoyable but not quite as elaborate as Las Vegas shows. Show 5, Box Office 1. When I purchased my seats I was told the show was not available for the time I wanted. I was told I could choose another time that night, but the seats would not be together or choose another date or they could refund my money. I wrote that two seats NOT together was unacceptable. I opted for another date. When I arrived at the theater we were given seats on different rows! I informed the usher that I wanted to sit with my husband and the seating was unacceptable. She told me they were the seats we were assigned and there was nothing she could do about it, to sit and wait to see who was seated next to me and see if they would be willing to change seats. Really! After the show started, empty seats all around, the man sitting next to my husband , changed seats with me so we could sit together. The theater did nothing!
Versailles is a zoo! I felt like I was in Times Square on New Years Eve. Without our wonderful and very informative guide I probably would have skipped the whole thing. It was great to walk past the throngs of people and walk through the door with this lovely woman who was carefully looking after the nine of us. We decided to find our own way to Versailles from Paris, Our hotel underestimated the trip by almost an hour. We were a half hour late. The people at the tour company were wonderful, whisking us to the counter, getting us in the next English speaking tour, and back on schedule in a flash. Great customer service. I would highly reccomend this tour and company.
