I am giving it 3 stars because of the awkwardness of making connections to and from the tour bus. The description for the tour needs to be updated. 1) Look for the Red City Tour bus at the port to get to the actual tour bus. 2) The bus tour of the city was as expected and the canal tour was comprehensive. 3) Returning to the ship is problematic. Idea of walking back to the ship does not work for the northern docks. After we got off of the canal tour, we used a city map to find the New Harbor (Nyhaven) for a wonderful lunch. From there we had to walk back (not a short walk) to the Mermaid site before we boarded again the red tour bus back to the ship. Had to show boat id to get on. This was not a problem in the end but the authorizations were from two different sources. Getting to the tour bus from the ship was from this tour company. The bus back to the ship was from the ship sponsored tour. Lucky for us that they both used the same bus company. Problem was that we had not idea how to get back to the ship from the Mermaid site until we got there and happened to find the tour bus again. On a happier note, Copenhagen is wonderful and if possible more that one day could be spent there e.g. Tivoli Gardens. etc. We saw Tivoli Gardens on the Amazing Race but we had no time in one day to get into the park. We bought this tour because the ship did not list this tour online prior to sailing. Once on board, we could have gotten this tour from the ship. The cruise line did not list it, I guess, because the day we were in Copenhagen was the last day of the one cruise and the first day of the Baltic cruise. No excuse in my mind but that is how it was.
