Weather was glorious. Route was varied and as far as possible kept on quiet roads / tracks. Richard our guide was very informative. Bikes were carbon fibre mountain bikes and were in good condition. Scenery was nice, helped by the sunshine and the wild flowers. Relaxing stop for wine and cheese on a sheep farm. Lovely break from the sightseeing in the city centre.
This was a really good way to see the city and get your bearings on the first morning. Our bike guide was informative and had a good knowledge of the history of Rome but kept it lighthearted. Bikes were in good condition.
