Paris Pass

Paris, France

My Rating
2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

My Review

Cheaper if you ordered directly from Paris Pass and have it mailed to your house so you can review and map out the places you want to go before you get to Paris. The hop-on-hop off bus only goes one direction, so plan accordingly.

Mont Saint Michel Day Trip

Paris, France

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

The bus ride from Paris is long, but worth it. The lunch provided is okay. There is a shuttle bus to take you to the bridge. I took the guided tour rather than liberté (on your own). From the bus stop, you have to walk to the entrance of Mont Saint Michel and then through the medieval town — you roughly climb about 350 steps to the entrance of the abbey. The tour guide was very pleasant and made sure no one was left behind. She provided great history and answered all our questions. The trip was timeless!

Best of Versailles Day Trip from Paris: Skip-the-Line Palace of Versailles Tour, Grand Canal Lunch and the Grand Trianon

Paris, France

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

It's a short ride from Paris. Make sure you get the smaller group tour of 8 people, it's well worth it. It's less crazy, when having to deal with the other hordes of people walking through all the rooms. The palace was opulent and the gardens were breathtaking. The lunch offered was at a petite restaurant and was quite good. After lunch, the guide took us to the summer home of King Louis and then the summer home of Mary Antoinette. The guide was wonderful, she was informative and funny, with a great personality. It was worth the trip!

Eiffel Tower, Paris Moulin Rouge Show and Seine River Cruise

Paris, France

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

It was lovely...not having to plan this on my own. Picked up at the hotel, a 3 course dinner cruise, some time on your own on the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower and then a show at Moulin Rouge with some champagne. Yeah, the show was very campy, but it was fun and entertaining. It was late by the time we got out of the show and they took us back to the hotel. A very touristy thing to do, but hey...I'm a tourist just enjoying the night out!
