1. Sydney City Tour
The tour director David was great, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.
Major locations around the city of Sydney were included. David's narration was very informative.
2. Lunch cruise Sydney Harbour:
We joined the "Majistic" Lunch Cruise, which was a 2 hour lunch cruise.
The buffet lunch was both "incredible, delicious, and abundant". You will pay your own drinks, which were no big deal.
This could have been easily the best part of all 3 parts of this 2-day combo package.
3. Blue Mountains Tour:
This day long excursion offered so many great attractions, though the weather was mostly good, Sydney and its vicinities were down pouring in the last 2+ hours, which negatively impacted our activities.
We really enjoyed the Featherdale Wildlife Park where we had our chance to see a great collection of wild life animals. We also had a chance to be photographed with a reptile (free). The collection of birds was "amazing". However, here you won't be able to hold a koala for a picture, unlike in Brisbane, where you can do so for a price. Overall, we really enjoyed the Featherdale Wildlife Park even though we had previously had similar tour in Brisbane.
The journey to Katoomba was enjoyable with nice scenary. The famous Three Sisters rock formation was breathtaking. We wished there was more time there though. We would have walked a lot more to sightseeing or getting closer to the Three Sisters.
Notes: Bus tour directors provided great comments on both days on bus only. They, however, didn't accompany travelers on sites. Just so you can set your expectations. This is why I can't rate 5-star.
Transferring from airport to hotel and from hotel back to the airport were good.
Both drivers were very polite and extremely helpful.
1. From airport to hotel, you will need to be proactive, locating where your local operator driver is. Don't expect someone holding a sign with your name on it
2. From hotel to the airport, the pick up time was 3 hours ahead of your departure. So if you need some extra time to sleep, a cab would have been better
It was one among the many tours that I will identify as "a MUST have".
The story behind this worldwide famous landmark not only amazing in details but also was so powerful of devotion and heartbroken that I felt a brief choke at one point.
We learned so many fascinating facts as well as the triumphant in the end in building this incredible Opera House in this walking tour.
We had our chance to be part of a rehearsal for a matinee performance, as well as a ballet practice session. Some bonus to us!
Though picture taken was not permitted inside the Opera house, the tour will take you to spots that offer many unique angles that otherwise impossible.
