Went on this as part of our honeymoon (5/15/13). My husband is a pilot and I am not- neither of us had been in a helicopter. AMAZING! Chicago is spectacular at night and the view puts you at a loss for words. As you glide right alongside the Willis (Sears) tower, you feel like you can reach out and touch it because you're just so close. The helicopter can literally take you to places you've never been before. John and Ryan were excellent guys who made us feel right at home. The only downside was that it was only 30 minutes- We could have stayed up there all night!
Note: If you're going to take a night flight and are planning on using public transportation, I suggest springing for cab fare to get home as it's quit dark out, and bit of a walk to the nearest bus stop!
Went here as part of our honeymoon. The tour guide was awesome and enthusiastic (and very knowledgeable). They cover A LOT of ground in the 2 hours and you get to see several sites. The price is very reasonable and it is probably worth it if you're a movie buff (I am not, so it was hard to keep up with, but my husband is a movie buff, and he really liked it). If you love movies, you'll probably like this. It was interesting to hear some history about these sites, and then see them on other tours later in the week. I kind of felt like I knew Hollywood secrets that no one else knew! We decided to deduct a star only because we thought there would be more photographic opportunities (a few seconds to snap a picture now and then), but unfortunately there really wasn't. While we're lacking in pictures, it was still an interesting tour. Even the locals (all but 4 of us on this particular tour) learned something new. If you have the time, it's something different to do in Chicago!
We went as part of our honeymoon and all I can say is, "GO! GO! GO!". We had never ridden segways before, but it was easy-peasy after a few minutes of practice. Brennan was our tour guide and he was great! I suggest the night tour, as the city is beautiful and the setting sun makes for a gorgeous backdrop! It was very cold, and even started to rain during our trip, but it was very well worth it! They cover a lot of ground and our whole group had a blast (even after I had a massive wreck)! We plan on doing a segway tour in every major city that offers one from now on. SO WORTH THE MONEY!
