Excellent entertainment, glad we weren't in the "splatter zone" though getting showered with the fake blood which smelled just like cherry koolaid!

My Review

Rude Rude Rude. My husband and I arrived at the shuttle stop at LAX (as instructed) after a long 14 hour flight without any sleep and reported to the less-than intelligent looking woman there who was taking names for the shuttles. We presented our voucher to her. She looked at it and then communicated with somebody, saying something completely incomprehensible. We assumed it was advising the van to come and pick us up. When the van arrived, the driver asked us which hotel we were going to, all the while I was holding the voucher in my hand. We replied. He responded with something I thought was a comment about the hotel, but later discovered wasn't. (We are Australian and not used to some of the accents, especially when they are mumbled).

He picked up another 4 passengers and about 15 minutes into our trip when one of them passed money to the driver for the fare, I asked him if he wanted our voucher now or later. He glared at me and said "you've got a voucher???". He then proceeded to inform us in a very rude and insulting manner how much money we had just caused him to lose because if he knew we had a voucher, he would have waited to get more paying customers into the same trip. We responded apologetically saying that we had no idea that it was such an inconvenience and that we were very sorry and I also had to apologise for not understanding him earlier as it turns out that after asking us what hotel we were going to, he asked if we were paying cash. That bit I definitely did NOT recall hearing. We were left feeling that if anybody else was waiting and paying cash, that he would have taken them over us and made us wait. He then went on a tirade of how much of an inconvenience the vouchers were which made me think that if it was so, then why on earth do they use them?

Would I use them again? Possibly, but NOT with this company! This experience did not reflect well whatsoever on Supershuttle and was not a very nice welcome to LA!.
