Super Saver: Dubrovnik Old Town and Ancient City Walls Historical Walking Tour

Dubrovnik, Croatia

My Rating
1 star rating: I do not recommend this

My Review

We were really unimpressed with this tour guide, and in fact we didn't even go on the second tour because the first one was so bad. His story-telling was all over the place, jumping between topics and centuries randomly, and he didn't speak loud enough or wait until the group was gathered at the next place before continuing. He was monotone and boring.

Small-Group Bosnia and Herzegovina Day Trip from Dubrovnik including Medjugorje and Mostar

Dubrovnik, Croatia

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

This day was great- such an interesting trip, and very different from Dubrovnik. The best part was the walking tour in Mostar which was both historically interesting and beautiful.

Diocletian Palace Walking Tour and Optional Trip to Trogir

Split, Croatia

My Rating
3 star rating: Worth doing

My Review

Was just OK- a good way to see the Palace area but felt rushed (our guide only spent less than an hour) and didn't include anything like the bell tower or the cellars tour.

Communist Moscow: Evening Walking Tour

Moscow, Russian Federation

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

Very interesting tour- told the story of the rise and fall of Communism in a methodical way that was engaging and logical- I really understood why things happened the way they did. Highly recommend as a nice evening activity when the other attractions are closed.

Architecture Tour of Moscow's Metro and Kolomensoye Estate

Moscow, Russian Federation

My Rating
4 star rating: Recommended

My Review

The metro tour portion was amazing! Kolomensoye was interesting but not worth it if you only have a few days in town. Also, apparently the neat part of the Estate includes a big wooden palace that was not part of our tour.
