Our tour guide Tiffany was excellent. The whole day was really enjoyable travelling through the Tuscan countryside. Would have preferred the free time to be in Montepulciano rather than Pienza as there were many more interesting shops there. Realise that isn't possible as there is a time constraint in the morning to arrive at the winery in time for the fabulous lunch.
The 3 hr walking tour covered so many interesting sites around Rome and our informative guide was terrific. Only disappointment there was no indication when booking that the tour would end a long way from where it started. We ended up getting taxi back to our accommodation whereas the meeting point had been close to our accommodation.
The morning tour was amazing including the walk around the Parthenon at the Acropolis and we had a terrific tour guide. Wear sturdy walking shoes as the well worn marble slabs on the path were slippery and we saw 3 people slip.Fantastic photo opportunities looking over Athens. Highlight was visiting the 4yr old Acropolis Museum with its glass floors built over ancient ruins.Early June was ideal time to visit before the busy tourist season. The afternoon long coastal bus trip to Cape Sounion provided interesting scenery of the ocean and countryside but was a bit of an anticlimax when we arrived at Temple of Poseiden.
