This was well worth the money spent. Riding the bus alleviated any concerns with finding the location, parking, etc. Although there were over 600 people attending, this luau was well-organized, personable, and the hours flew by. I would recommend this tour to friends and family.
This activity is definitely worth doing. Tickets were unavailable directly through the site so I ordered the tour through Viator. The independently contracted tour group that facilitated my visit is the reason for 2 stars rather than 5. I did appreciate riding the bus and receiving guidance regarding procedures, etc.; however, the tour kept us on a tight schedule and my husband and I felt rushed. If traveling with a large bus group and being on a tight schedule do not appeal to you, book your tickets directly and plan to drive yourself to the site. Also, I was under the impression that I had tickets to all, but discovered while there that tickets to the Bowfin submarine were not included. I would have gladly purchased Bowfin tickets separately in order to see the submarine; however, there was no time in the schedule so my husband and I did not get to see the submarine. Remaining on the tight schedule with a bus full of 70 other tourists cramped our style. I would advise anyone planning their vacation to consider this.
