The tour company was excellent. Our guide was fantastic. He really knew the area and showed us things he had discovered (off the beaten track). This tour company does many walking tours and we were just sad we didn't have more time to do more of them.
Musee d'Orsay was very good as well. But - it is separate from the walking tour and unguided (that was not a problem).
But - again we paid for Musee d'Orsay tickets for our kids, who get in free.
The tour company and our guide were very good. However, Versailles itself was not great. The garden tour was pleasant (although the water in the fountains had an unpleasant odor).
The inside of Versailles was not enjoyable as there were so many people, we were basically like cattle moving through the rooms. I would suggest going at a less busy time (not August).
This was a pleasant way to see many of the sights. It was also very good to get a feel for the city. If I were to do it again, I would only book it for one day (not two). We really didn't use it much the second day.
