St Augustine, Florida
The Hop-On-Hop Off Trolley tour for about $23.00 per person for 3 days was worth it. The tour included the Beach Bus that goes out to the hotels and swimming beaches on Anastasia Island, but because we began our visit over on the island, it was confusing as to how to acquire the necessary stickers to board the bus. One has to visit a kiosk in the town of St. Augustine in order to get the required stickers. Also, the beach bus only runs each hour, and if the bus is missed, it will be another hour before another one comes along. Having said that, the service In town is more efficient and takes you to all the spots that tourists want to see. Most of the attractions are really in walking distance from the historic center, but a couple are a little further out. To get to the Alligator Farm you have to ride on the beach bus.
Overall, riding the trolley is a good way to get a good overview of the town.
