Washington D.C., District of Columbia
Our tour leader Mike was great - very knowledgeable and caring. However, the tour advertising did not adequately advise regarding the extent of walking required during this tour. The ad promised photo stops, but did not say we had to walk so far to see them. Other points of interest had obstructed views, or whizzed past too fast for photos. Had I been aware that this " bus" tour included miles of walking, I would have worn appropriate shoes. Instead, I ended up with blisters on both feet. I did very much appreciate the quick tour access to the Capitol Building and National Archives. However, the tour ad failed to advise that the end drop-off point was so far away from the staring point - again a very long walk, which we did not foresee.
