Washington D.C., District of Columbia
I really enjoyed what we saw but there were some stops and viewings that we missed that I would have preferred to see, such as Arlington Cemetery, the Sculpture Garden and the Martin Luther King Memorial. Our guide said she likes to switch it up a bit, but I think we could have spent less time in front of the White House so we could have seen more. It was my first trip to Washington DC so I wanted to experience as much as possible in 6 hours.
Also, my friend, my daughter and I did not realize how much walking there would be in hot weather. Maybe we did not read the fine print, but I think we would have done better if we had brought along some sun hats and a lot more water. Overall though, I really enjoyed what we saw.
