This was a great tour and a convenient way to see the extremely large areas in the Vatican. The guide was excellent and gave just about enough information to keep the group interested and yet not inundated with details. Highly recommended!
This tour was essentially a guided bus ride with the guide pouring out poor jokes at every turn of the bus. We stopped at only two locations (Trevi Fountain and Bernini's Fountain)... And at these places, we were given an explanation of the logistics and no information about the site itself.
There was little time to see any of the sites mentioned on the tour (it was mostly a 2 hour bus ride along some of the historical sites of Rome). Use this to get familiar with Rome and see some (not all) monuments and nothing beyond that. A cheaper way of doing this would be to get on a regular bus and follow the routes (which would cost you 5-7 Euros only).
If you are interested in Rome's history and it's monuments, then this is not recommended at all.
