This was a great experience, the highlight of our Salzburg stay. Enjoyed the food and the concert was wonderful. Unless you are a large group, you will be sharing a table with several other people. That could have an impact on your enjoyment.
I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Tim, was great. You could tell he loved his city and was proud to share it with us. We discovered little gems that we would not have found (or thought to look for) on our own (the hotel where Jim Morrison was last seen and likely died, for example). We had a relaxing time at the café having charcuterie and the Pétanque game was a lot of fun -- I play Pétanque the same way I curl: through the house and gone :)
We were lucky to only have 6 people on our tour so it made it very personal. We were able to ask questions about things that we were interested in in a way that a larger group would have made difficult.
It was really nice not to have to deal with a taxi or train/subway on arrival for our first visit to Paris. We were picked up at the door and dropped off at the door to our hotel. We got to see a lot of the city since the shuttle takes 7 passengers and requiring drop-offs at different hotels in different arrondissements. The shuttle driver was open to questions and pointing out landmarks.
