The tour is definitely worth doing. In fact with limited time in the city , it's the only way to go. the downside was this... It was advertised as an English speaking tour. what transpired was the guide spoke consistently and constantly in three languages , Spanish English and German in that order.
For me this was not a problem as I speak the first two fluently but for the people who accompanied me and for many of the English speaking only tourists , this was seen as clear misrepresentation and led to a display of overt frustration forcing me to convene privately with the guide reminding her that this tour was sold on the basis of being conducted in English .
Note from Viator
Thank you for your feedback. Although all of Viator’s tours are offered in English, many of our guides are multi-lingual and we cannot guarantee English will be the only language spoken during a tour. Occasionally our guides must provide assistance to a variety of guests from around the world and multiple languages will be spoken to accommodate everyone. We are sorry if you felt your tour was lacking due to this fact, and based on your concerns, we will contact our local tour operator and continue monitoring feedback from our future travelers to ensure a positive, quality experience for all.
London, United Kingdom
This tour was fantastic! Our only regret was that we could not spend more time at Stratford upon Avon. Just one comment. Prior to boarding the Coach at Victoria, there is a fair amount of uncertainty as to where one should convene , which line to get into , prompting many of the touring customers to constantly enquire for further information amongst themselves .
