Grand Canyon West Rim Combo: Luxury SUV, Helicopter and Boat

My Review: This tour was absolutely fantastic! The tour operator did a great job and made the whole tour amazing. The guide was brilliant, as he was really knowledgeable, friendly and polite, and got involved in taking photos and answering random questions. I absolutely recommend this tour in particular, as the drive there in the luxurious Jeep was very comfortable. The helicopter component was a highlight, as was the ride on the Colorado River. Seeing the Canyon from different perspectives--from the top and the bottom, from the air and the ground--was well worth it. A must do when in Las Vegas.

Washington DC Day Trip from New York

My Review: We were very excited about visiting Washington but were not prepared for the 5 hour drive. The coach was packed, and there was heaps of traffic. We didn't get back to Times Square until after 10pm because of all the traffic. Washington itself was lovely, and we saw all the main sights. It would have been good to visit the Pentagon since it is right there, but it was not part of the tour. The Air and Space Museum was a waste of time, and the Pentagon or even the FBI building could easily substitute. Also, we had no spare time. The only time we got was to eat lunch at the museum - a choice of McDonalds and McDonalds. And our guide was terrible. While full of facts, he lacked enthusiasm. He didn't once try to get to know the people on the tour, seemed like he couldn't be bothered and raced around the sights to the point where we lost a couple of people on the way. And he wanted a tip at the end of the day! He put a damper on things. Overall, I'm glad I saw Capitol Hill, the White House and the memorials, but it could have been better.

Woodbury Common Premium Outlets Shopping Tour

My Review: The shopping at Woodbury Common is amazing. We went for a full day and took an empty suitcase. By the end of the day, the suitcase was full and we were also carrying extra bags! The stores had fantastic deals, and when we got to the counter, they usually had further reductions. The bus ride there took about an hour, but you tend to sleep on the way back after shopping all day. The bus was very organised and right on time. A must do when you are in NYC.

New York City Full-Day Guided Coach Tour Including Lunch

My Review: It was unfortunate that most of this tour was on the coach. I was under the impression that we would get off at the sights and have time to see them properly, but this wasn't the case. The places that we did stop off at were not that significant. For example, we stopped on at Washington Square Park, a cathedral near Central Park and the financial district to have lunch and see ground zero from a nearby building. And the lunch selection was bad! Out of all the lovely places in NYC to have lunch, we were taken to a Mexican restaurant with no views or nice surroundings. It was quite disappointing.
The highlight of the tour was the boat ride to the Statue of Liberty. While we didn't get off to see the statue or Ellis Island, the guide on the boat was great. It lasted for almost an hour and was quite comprehensive with many photo opportunities. Another highlight was the admission to the Top of the Rock, but we didn't like the fact that they just dumped us there at the end of the day.
In my opinion, the tour should include a visit to the visitors centre at Ground Zero, a visit to the Empire State Building, lunch and some free time in Soho or the Village, the Flatiron Building and more time at Central Park.

Ancient Rome Half-Day Walking Tour

My Review: Definitely worth doing, but not in the heat of summer. Our guide was an archaeologist, which was great, but found that the info she was providing us was from that perspective, and could have done with more of a historical point of view too. Her English was hard to understand, and listening through those earphones made it worse. Also, we didn't realise that this tour did not go to the Spanish Steps, so we missed out on that completely.

Pompeii and Amalfi Coast Small Group Day Trip from Rome

My Review: Going to three different places on the same day means a tiring and long day, from 6:45am to 10pm, but visiting Positano, Amalfi and Pompeii was well worth it. The driver and guide were fantastic, as was the guide at Pompeii. Even though the tour was mainly bu bus, we did travel to Amalfi by boat from Positano. And you also get adequate free time to explore the towns. A great tour that I would recommend to anyone.

My Review: There were many great sights to see, and even though it was raining, it was still a fantastic tour to see Switzerland. I would love to to it again in clear weather. The guide's English wasn't the best, but he still was very informative.

My Review: Worth every cent. Our guide was great and the tour was very organized. This is a great tour to do when your time in Paris is limited. We saw all the main attractions in half a day and didn't have to waste our time waiting in lines.

Eiffel Tower, Paris Moulin Rouge Show and Seine River Cruise

My Review: Dinner was nice but we could have spent more time at the Eiffel Tower. The waiter spilled red wine all over my husband's white shirt and they didn't compensate in any way which was disappointing. The tour guide then wouldn't let us stop off at the hotel on the way to Moulin Rouge to change the shirt. Beyond that, the tour guide and bus forgot us at the Eiffel Tower after the river cruise! We had to make our own way to Moulin Rouge and they didn't even reimburse us for the taxi. The guide was very unaffected about the situation once confronted and couldn't give an answer as to why they didn't wait. Overall, the places we visited were great and worth seeing, but the tour was very unorganized. I would recommend seeing these sites on your own.
