Ah Venezia! Being on deck for the cruise into Venice was spectacular, to suddenly see the waterways around the low lying islands was well worth the travel. We made our way to the Gondola Ride area early, needed time to find the right place, but, being early, wandered off for a while, upon our return, there was some doubt that we would get onboard as the storm clouds had moved in, fortunatley we were soon loaded aboard, 6 people per boat, 10 boats in all. then moved into the Grand Canal, to be serenaded by a tenor, accompanied by and accordian player, His lovely voice and choice of songs, some of which we all knew and sang along to, carried well accross the water. to see other tourist stop and listen and take phot's as we passed under the bridges of smaller canals, was interesting, and the restaurant meal was lovelly, although we had trouble finding it, but mainly because one of the tourist wmet up with, said he knew where it was, NOT!! he gave up, we did not found it 2 minutes after he left, stayed on quite late, and really enjoyed the dinne rand company, so well worth doing, only please be sure you ask the Gondola operator where the restaraunt is!!!!
