I was very excited to go on this tour but over all it did not live up to expectations. We were told to be outside our hotel at 6:45 a.m. for pick up however the bus did not arrive until 7:20. Then when we arrived at the front desk was not able to find our vouchers because we had booked through viator even though we presented her with our e-voucher. The bus was nice and clean and the 3 hour drive to Quebec City was nice. Once in Quebec City we were joined by a tour guide who took us on a walking tour of the down town area. The walking tour lasted about 40 minutes. It was my understanding that Quebec City was one of the oldest cities in North America and that we would be seeing authentic architecture from the 17th century. However during the tour we learned that most of it was a reproduction from the 1990s for tourist purposes. After the walking tour we were taken by bus to Montmorency Falls where we had only 15 minutes for pictures! The water falls were not as impressive as I expected and definitely nothing like Niagara. After the water falls if you bought the cruise you were directed to the that while everyone else got 3 hours to roam around Quebec City. There were some nice restaurants and some neat boutiques but all in all if I had to do it again I probably wouldn't. I think that if one wanted to see the water falls and Quebec City it would be better just to rent a car and drive up there for the day. At least that way you could spend more than 15 minutes at the falls. This tour is not something I would do again nor would I recommend it to anyone.
