50 countries and counting... I love to travel and use tours sparingly - mostly to see sights I couldn't otherwise see on my own, to be safe, or if I'm short on time but still want to see the major attractions.

I liked the small group and it was great to not have to wait in the long line to see the catacombs. The tour guide was professional, on time (she was there already even though we got there 20 min early), and had a pleasant attitude.

Three stars is "worth doing" but four is "recommend" so this gets three stars. It is a coach tour so expect 70 others onboard and tour guides who you hardly see. There's not much time to take pics since you're rushing from lunch to mt st Michel and at the two gas/bathroom/food stops.

You can buy a group ticket at the train station for about the same price or less if you go on your own instead! Use this tour if you aren't into exploring on your own but you will feel rushed as you get slightly less than 4hrs in Salzburg- which makes it hard to eat, see the castle, and other sights

If you like taking pics, go on your own instead! There's just not enough time on this coach tour to explore on your own- we were rushed and couldn't even make it to Mary's bridge (during our free time) for the famous shot of the castle. Bus tours mean you're with 70 others and in a big crowd all day
