While this tour is worth doing, the meal which was part of this trip was disappointing as the venue had VERY loud music, and the choice of food was extremely limited. The market and garden tour was ok. The Bumboat tour with Singapore at night was a real highlight.
The meeting point probably needs to be defined better (is it at the ship or at the security gate). The dinner and entertainment was good unfortunately our table was in a corner at the back of the stage and we didn't have a very good view. We were disappointed at the end of the night when we were taken to the wrong area to return to the ship. The gate was closed and we had a long walk back to the security gate then a long walk back to the ship. ( The bus had let us off opposite the entrance to the ship but outside the security fence).
We booked this tour before leaving Australia as we were going to be on a cruise. What a wonderful day we had. Carlos looked after us really well, his love of the mountains and the area was very much appreciated. The mountain scenery was spectacular as were the villages. A tour we can certainly remember and talk about. Finding the pickup place from the cruise ship was very easy via the people mover to Tronchetta then a short walk to the meeting point near the vaporetto station.
This is a two tour package. The morning tour was a good introduction to Barcelona and included an excellent guided tour of the Gothic Quarter. The afternoon tour to Montserrat was excellent with stunning scenery. We opted to take the Cog Railway to the summit and this was a highlight of the afternoon. The English speaking guides were excellent. A most memorable day and introduction to Barcelona.
