New York City, New York
We booked this tour to be able to access the ferry going to Liberty Island on the day we wanted. The tour itself does not have anything special. The walking tour in lower Manhattan was interesting though and the guide we had was good. Once on Liberty Island, the guide left the group and we visited the island on our own. On the way back, there is no "skip the line". Normally, the tour includes a visit of Ellis Island but it was still closed in August 2013. All in all, nothing special but useful if you want to visit Liberty Island and you did not know that you should have booked your ferry ticket 4 days in advance...
Washington D.C., District of Columbia
Excellent tour. The electric cart is comfortable and silent. George, our guide, was very interesting. We had a short time in DC and this tour was the perfect compromise : many major sites viewed in 2 hours. I have no hesitation to recommend this tour, bearing in mind that the quality of the guide (and driving skills) is of great importance.
Los Angeles, California
Our family wanted to experience a stretch limo tour in LA. The company in charge of the limo decided to change the schedule at the last minute which was not great. We could nevertheless manage to go and realized that 1) LA is very big and 2) there are not so many things to see or visit. However, our driver John was very good and did his best to offer a pleasant journey, including a stop at the "old" LA, a place that we did not know before. But distances and travel time are significant, so it is better not to include a museum or shopping during the tour. In the end, we had a nice day. The limo is nice and was perfect for 5 or 6.
San Francisco, California
Initially, we were looking for a tour including a visit of Alcatraz. We have found this tour which is a kind of "best of" San Francisco. It was perfect for our 2 days there. On the first day: helicopter tour and catamaran on the bay; both were great activities. On the second day: Alcatraz and Urban Safari Tour by bus; also excellent but a long day (3 hours + 4 hours). The bus tour was a bit too long (going up and down Twin Peaks took almost an hour) and the bus itself is an experience of its own (no windows and strong winds !). The guide on the bus was very good. In the end, my family enjoyed this combo tour a lot. But we have been very lucky with the sunny weather. The same tour with fog and showers may not be that fantastic. The price was reasonable and the organization was friendly and efficient.
