I thought that the "Athens Bike Tour" was a lot of fun and well organised. It was a great way to see the tourist attractions in Athens and I preferred it to walking because you could see a lot more things in the same time frame (as well as seeing things you wouldn't normally have seen as a tourist). It was also interesting to hear the Greek history and have the opportunity to talk with someone from Greece. The bike had gears and was in good condition. The ride could be modified to suit people of all fitness levels. There was also a break half way where you got to try Greek pastry - delicious! I would recommend the ride for couples and older families. There are short occasional periods where you ride on the road with the cars which I don't think would be appropriate for young children. All in all, it was a highlight of my trip to Athens.
On a side note, the same company also offers a bike tour to the beach near Athens. Apparently it's a really nice beach so if you had a few days in Athens and wanted to see all the tourist attractions by foot, then riding to the beach may be a nice alternative to see something different.
