Van Gogh Museum was great. Hop-On Hop Off Day Pass was not great. We took the green line north, because of construction at Central Station had to get off and walk a couple blocks to catch another tour boat. No one was available to tell you where to go. So by the time that we arrived at right place to catch green line again, we had to wait another 40 minutes for a green line tour boat. Then we found out it was an extra boat and was not going as far as our destination. Operator did not bother telling us this restriction when we got on boat. You could make it user friendly by either giving written instructions or better yet paint a line on the pavement to get you to the next departure platform. I would not recommend the Hop-On Hop-Off Day Pass.
Bruges was beautiful. Tour bus was crowded and there was only one tour guide for 80 people. In Bruges, we could not hear the tour guide because too many people. Also tour guide only carried a folded umbrella. Suggest that tour guide carry a large lollipop sign so we could locate in busy city and follow him. Eventually, we left tour and went on our own. Another suggestion is providing a map of Bruges to people on the tour. I recommend if tourists in Amsterdam want to visit Bruges, spend the money on a private drivera nd skip the bus ride and poor tour.
