The Alhambra and gardens were fantastic of course. We had booked an English speaking guide. However, on arrival we were put together with a mostly Spanish speaking group. Therefore the guide spoke a lot of Spanish and very little English. I think we missed out on a lot. Certainly from what I could hear other English guides saying. That was very disappointing. If I book an English speaking guide, I think I should get one. I felt that we would have been better off doing the self guided tour.
Excellent. It was just us and the guide, Domaso (spelling??). He brought us to wonderful places where we got wonderful tapas. He also suggested drinks that we would never have tried. His English is excellent and we spent a very enjoyable evening together. I thought we'd had tapas but this was a very entertaining evening with good food, wine and company.
A wonderful way to see the city. We went around completely without stopping first and then decided what we wanted to see for the next two days. It's very good value but unfortunately it is not able to go to the El Albaicín, the old Moorish quarter of the city. That area is wonderful and should not be missed.
I like that the ticket is valid for 48 hours.
