We did a full-day bus tour originating from Plaza Mayor. The bus ride was good and it was only half-filled so it wasn't a huge crowd. Our tour guide, Teresa, explained a few things both in spanish and english.
The actual tour itself in Toledo was also good -- Teresa explained things well. it would have been nicer though if she explained things as we were passing through cobbled streets heading to the cathedral. It felt that we were all walking in silence as we passed interesting streets. But she did explain things well when inside sights.
I booked the tour the week of, and it all went pretty smoothly. The tour was on time and generally good. It was definitely a lot better than what we expected based on Trip Advisor reviews. The price is very reasonable so this is a welcome option from doing private tours (which are a lot more expensive). I'm not sure how the lunch was, as my family opted to stay behind in Toledo and have lunch on our own. We were pretty happy with what we ate, and it was definitely cheaper than doing the lunch. We opted for 1 of 2 restaurants that Teresa recommended.
