Las Vegas, Nevada
The staff and pilots are all very courteous and fun, and they show up right on time. The helicopters are a little cramped, so getting a good viewing angle can be difficult. I felt bad for those in the middle seats, as you really don't see much. And since the pilots need to balance the weight of the chopper, you might get stuck in a middle seat both going out and coming back. Don't expect to get too many photos if this happens.
Overall it's a worthwhile experience, but my only real complaint would be that you don't get much time when you land in the Grand Canyon to both look around and to eat the meal they provide. I think it came out to only 15-20 minutes before you had to be back on the chopper again. That's barely enough time to eat, much less see the sights. If they extended this to 30-45 minutes, it would be a lot better and more satisfying tour. That being said, don't be deterred from doing it. It's worth it for the view once you're there!
