Fun tour riding on country roads. The first hill is a killer, but don't let it stop you, get off and walk if needed, it's fairly short; that said, you should be ready for hilly terrain and be comfortable on the road too. You can always ride in the sag wagon if you don't want to bike-one of our tour members did while her husband cycled and I think she had just as much fun as the rest of us. Our guide was great, the stop at the cafe (bar) was nice and the stop at the winery was even better.
A whirlwind trip of four of the five towns of Cinque Terre. If you only have one day to visit this region, this is a pretty nice trip. An added plus were the nice stories the guides shared on the bus ride about the areas we passed through. A lovely hike predominantly downhill to a lovely lunch in restaurant overlooking the sea, then two more towns via trains, and with good whether a boat ride to a fourth town, with a lovely view of the whole coast from the sea. My only issue with this tour was the tight schedule, I wanted a little bit more time in each town, which in our case was cut short by late trains. September provided perfect weather, but I can't imagine the hike in the peak of heat in the summer.
