Overall, a little disappointing. Check-in at the tour office was quick and easy, the bus was nice, and the rides out to the Champagne region and back were scenic and relaxing. But the two champagne tours were virtually identical, which makes me wonder why they bothered to have both on the same trip. I was hoping to see a bit of the vineyards and/or more of the operation, not just the cellars where the champagne is stored. (Spoiler alert: they look like cellars, and the spiels from the 2 guides were identical.) Also, we did the tour on a Sunday, which seemed like a good idea because we figured lots of things would be closed in Paris that day, but lots of things were also closed in Reims, including many of the better lunch spots and the cathedral itself, of which we were supposed to get a guided tour.
