Excellent service.

I have been very generous in rating this with one star - it deserves a negative rating. They split our group to 2 buses but only had 1 guide so we rode 3 hours without any information. We made 2 stops in Vienna. At both physical stops, we were basically told where to walk to see the sights and were left on our own. Back on the bus, the guide now in our bus could not be heard except by the person next to her...IT WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY unless you just wanted a long bus ride.

Our guide was great, informing us of different sights along the way as well as in the town. The first stop was the glass musem which was interesting to see and understand the process. The next stop was the spas/springs. The guide was informative and was patient while we all bought special cups to drink from the spas. I did not drink from all the spas as the warm to hot mineral water did not taste good to me !!! - although they say it has great medicinal powers- I will skip it - but it was still interesting. The lunch provided was very good. After lunch you were given the opportunity to have free time. The town has some great little shops and sights so I took advantage of bowsing on my own. There was the alternative to stay with the guide as she continued to show others some of the other sights/history of the town. Worth the trip.

Driver was waiting for me at airport and quickly got me to the hotel telling me of some of the sights as we went.

This transfer was definitely worth the extra $. I had a guide which was fabulous and gave me a lot of history of the city as we made our way from the hotel down the grand canal and directly to the port office where my ship was docked.

The private transfer is well worth the price. It worked out fabulously as my hotel had a dock and the private transfer brought me directly to my hotel.
The only downside was upon my arrival. I was greeted immediately but then had to wait while the tour people got paperwork together which was a problem because the office was closed...then once we got to the docks, I had to wait again for the specific boat to arrive and dock.
I would definitely do a private transfer again but will think about whether to plan ahead or negotiate once there.
