I loved Berlin, will defo be going back, 3 days just was not long enough. Managed to go in 3 museums, saw loads of the wall, was surprised so much was still standing. As for the bus tour where to start, hop on, hop off is a great idea but not with this tour company, tour started on other side of city to where we were staying, tried to get on three different bus tours but kept being told was wrong bus! No one seemed to know where this company started! Eventually found the bus and was allowed on, none of the stops were clearly sign posted so it was a guess as to where to get on bus. Waited a few times in wrong place. Other bus companies seemed better organised. As we went in December we were prepared for cold and damp weather and it even snowed, was very surprised to get on a bus to find it colder on bus than outside, another bus was wetter inside than outside, I think it was a pre war bus it was so shabby, seats were torn and wet, water dripped through ceiling, upstairs was so bad no one would go up there! We got off at next stop and waited for next bus which was better but nit great. Other bus companies did seem to have newer busses so next time we go we will definately be using a different tour company. Berlin can be seen on foot if you are up for it. It is a lovely city and the christmas markets were special not the same as at home. Will go back but maybe in warmer months.
