The drive to the archaeological site was beautiful and if you would like to see some of the scenery outside of Athens then I would recommend the tour. However, while the tour guide was knowledgeable, she seemed as if she just wanted to get through the tour. After arriving at the site she gave the group about a 10 minute explanation of the site and then let us explore at our own pace. The tour guide was not exceptionally friendly. I would recommend that if you are taking this tour do not take the lunch option as my favorite part of the tour was getting dropped off in a small town for lunch and having time to explore.
I highly recommend that anyone traveling to Madrid take this tour if you are interested in sampling tapas and tasting wine. The tour director was awesome - he had a lot of knowledge about the history of Madrid, the tapas we were being served, and the wine. At each location we visited we were served a large amount of both tapas and wine so don’t have a large dinner prior to the tour. At the end of the evening the tour guide provided everyone with a pamphlet including all the wine we tasted and locations we visited so that we could return to the location if we would like to. Before entering each restaurant he explained the history of the location and then allowed everyone time inside the restaurant to socialize and get to know each other. I took several tours while visiting Spain and this was by far the best.
