It began a bit disappointing. We arrived at the airport and there wasn't any signage as to where we were to go meet our service. I expected someone to be in the area with the other companies I saw. i thought someone would be holding some type of signage. We had to stop three different times and ask where we could find this particular transfer company. When we found them, I expected that they would have found us, I asked why they weren't in the waiting area with the other transport companies. Her response was she was busy.
Once we were settled in our transfer was great, Ian our driver was kind, polite and very professional. He chatted with us the entire ride. Although I had arranged for a shared ride it wound up to be private. In a very clean Tahoe. Great ride.
The return trip was ok. The driver was a few minutes late getting to us. So I had to make an additional call to make sure we were weren't forgotten. We rode with another family in a mini bus. The driver was nice. The ride was good.
I would recommend it and use the service again but I want to advise others as to the few bumps I experienced.
Great 4 hr tour, get away from the busy San Marco and embark on a water ride with amazing views. A comfortable motor boat speeds across the waters to Murano, Torcello and Burano. A unbelievable glass blowing demonstration, and enough time to shop awaits on the island of Murano. Torcello an island in the lagoon where only 11 people live is a good stop for a snack and a few photos opportunities along the bridges, but don't eat until you reach Burano. Burano, famous for lace making, is a very colorful island. The houses are vivid and the piazzas are filled with great restaurants and quaint shops filled with lace. Great place for lunch. All tours and islands stops are enough to give you a flavor but not an overkill. Enjoyed it all, motor boat is a bit loud, but hey your in Venice, enjoy!
THIS TOUR IS BETTER THAN A 5! Highly recommend it. Barbara was our tour guide and she was fantastic. She was knowledgable, friendly and a great sense of humor. She guided us thru our entire day providing us with great audio guidance and information. The trip to Tuscany left from the train station in a very comfortable motor bus. We stopped in Sienna for a well guided tour. Some time to do our own thing and back on the bus to the vineyards. A tour of a winery and a delicious lunch with all your friends from the bus. Along with great wine tasting. Time for a few gift items if you wanted, no pressure. Then it was off to San Gimignano, a quaint little village area in the hills, spectacular views and great picture taking, the best gelato ever. Here we were able to do our own thing. Then off to Pisa, picture taking and time to climb the tower. A surprise awaited at the end... Then it was back on the bus to Florence. The trip was one of the best I have ever been on. All well time managed, the bus was very comfortable, the people we met were great and all were friendly. The bus ride into the hills is worth it all, the hills of Tuscany speak for themselves. You can't go wrong with this tour. It is a full day of pure beauty!
