The trip started with a brief walking tour of the Jewish district followed by a comprehensive visit to Wawel Castle and Cathedral. There was a brief stop before a walk down to the old town concluding matters at St Mary's Church. This was a tour well led by Conrad and the weather was glorious. Please note that this is mainly a walking tour so is unsuitable for anyone who is infirm. Overall a good introduction to Kraków.
The tour was very enjoyable allowing about an hour in each of the 3 locations. There were only 5 people on the trip which meant that there were no delays during the day and it was easy to hear whst the excellent guide Eveline was saying.
Weather was great which added to the enjoyment.
I want to start the review by stating that the trip was well organised and the guide (Walter) was very pleasant and gave out plenty of information during the journey. The highlight of the day was the coach trip from Raperswil to Liechtenstein as the scenery was spectacular and I was lucky with the weather on the day in question. The main reason why I haven't given a higher rating is that there was insufficient time allocated at Liechtenstein and Heidiland. The stops at both these places only amounted to about 40 minutes each which was not long enough. I would suggest the stop at Liechtenstein should be about an hour and a half and the stop at Heidiland about an hour. This could be achieved if the coach tour started an hour earlier at 10 a.m.
I also question the need for a Zurich tour at the start of the journey as I would imagine that a good many passengers would have already had a look at the city themselves on an independent basis.
To sum up, this was quite an enjoyable day but would be enhanced further by improved scheduling.
Very enjoyable trip. Pick up point in Frankfurt was only a 5 min walk from my hotel so it was a convenient location. Guide was quite friendly and I was lucky that when I went on the trip it was a nice sunny day. Heidelberg is a very attractive place and it was good to start at the castle followed by a walk over the old bridge and a look at an old church. There was a couple of hours of free time at the end and a bonus in December was being able to look at the Christmas market. I would have liked a bit more time at the castle but, on the whole, this was a well organised trip and very enjoyable.
