This tour was absolutely fantastic. Several experiences in one, and great for the price. We had a good amount of time to explore each area of the tour. Our guide was helpful and knowledgeable but allowed us to explore each area on our own so we still had our own experience without being lead around in a line. I have been raving about this since I got back, by far the best thing I did in Thailand.
The floating market was excellent and great fun, and we saw the museum and cemetery for the death railway on the way to the Bridge on River Kwai. We also stopped for a nice lunch.
The boat itself was absolutely massive. The food was served as a buffet and was stone cold. The entertainment was people singing along to a Karaoke machine. The lights on the side of the boat were so bright that it was virtually impossible to take any good photos of anything not on the boat. As soon as people were finished eating the front of the boat (where we were sitting) was turned into a disco with ridiculously loud music. It was more of a party boat than dinner cruise. Which would be fine if that is what we were after, but we weren't. Almost no commentary about what we were looking at. I could see some of the other boats that looked a lot less tacky.
The best thing about it was the bottomless soft drink and the wait staff were very attentive.
