San Francisco, California
We left the City at about 9am after being picked up at our hotel and stopping to pick up a few others. Roman, our driver was very entertaining while pointing out areas of interest. We arrived at Muir Woods prior to other tour companies, which gave us a chance to enjoy the trail with less people and at a pace that was comfortable for us to take pictures and enjoy the magnificant Redwoods. As we were leaving the crowds were pouring in (about 11am). We then stopped at a winery in Sonoma before going into town for lunch. There are a number of lunch choices in the town, but remember to eat first before shopping or just walking around the square. After lunch we drove to a winery in Napa and then hit another one in Sonoma. On the way back we dropped off some people in Sausolito. We then had enough time to stop at the Vista point above the Golden Gate Bridge to get spectacular views of the bridge and the entire Bay area. We arrived back at our hotel (Omni) by 6:30pm. It was a full day, but a worthwhile trip to see the Coastal Redwoods and then the wine country. Highly recommended
