Malaysia Johore Bahru Half-Day Tour from Singapore

Singapore, Singapore

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
Driver and tour guide were courteous and very informative. Going through customs was not a big deal and didn't take long. First stop to a batik shop was interesting...you can barter, don't take their prices at face value. Good items available. Next stop to Sultan Abu Bakar mosque was very interesting. Couldn't go in, but architecturally a beautiful place. Final stop at a 'modern village'...saw native plants, drank cocoa, watched pewter demo, short cultural dancing show, and of course shopping. Then back across the border with no problem. It was a good and informative half day trip into Malaysia and well worth the price.

Singapore Private Arrival Transfer: Airport to Hotel

Singapore, Singapore

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review
The car and driver were waiting at the airport when I stepped into the arrivals hall. I arrived very late and was traveling alone, so it was very comforting to have a reliable service there available to get me to the hotel. Driver also pointed out places of interest and was very courteous. Well worth the cost.

Papal Audience Ticket at Vatican City

My Review
I'd definitely do this tour again. The bus trip was a bit boring and the tour guide was interesting, but he seemed bored with himself. We got to Vatican City late because the car agency hired to pick us up at the hotel was forty five minutes late. Being in the same vicinity of the Pope is a great experience, but being close enough for him to wave at my kids was something totally unexpected and thrilling. That made the tour worthwhile. If you want to see the Pope up close, you won't do it sitting where the tour seats you. Make sure you sit next to the barricade as the Popemobile drives right by. Also, bring lots of water and an umbrella. It was very hot. All in all, a great experience. I'd do it again.

Skip the Line: Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel Tour

Rome, Italy

My Review
When I saw how loooong the line was for the Vatican I was grateful to have chosen this tour. My only complaint would be with the agency hired to pick us up at the hotel, 45 minutes late, the bus was rather annoyed at us and it wasn't our fault!!! Because of this our guide shaved 10 minutes off the Sistine Chapel tour. But all in all, the tour was fantastic! Our guide was genuine and knowledgeable, answered our questions, and she was really fun to follow around. I'd definitely recommend this tour.
