This is not the tour to just see the famous artworks at the Uffizi but the tour to quickly understand the progress of art development and history from renaissance and baroque to neoclassical and realism art. As Mario our english enthusiastic guide stated "is this natural or not?" The Vasari is the largest protrait gallery in the world and so quiet and peaceful after the crowds inside the Uffizi galleries. Enjoy ed by all the family.
When it is tourist season, the galleries are full and the queues are lengthly even in the priority "groups" line. Rosalind our english guide who was very knowledgeable used the waiting time to provide us the history of Florence so we could understand and enjoy the art and statues in the Academy. Another benefit of this tour is to be able to wander inside afterwards at leisure and enjoy the history.
Knowledgeable guides that showed us less busy sites. Boat tour the highlight for our family of five.
