Absolutely great! I was promptly picked up from the hotel where I was staying and soon we were on our way with Derek, 5-star tour guide and driver. He was very much familiar with the landscape, history, geography, even fairy tales and of course Game of Thrones... and he was terribly funny when talking about it, too!
We made some stops to take pictures (even with cardboard pictures of some GoT characters, which was a funny surprise to me) and appreciate the irish landscape (it bears mentioning that some of the places were off the tour route, but completely worth doing, as Derek rightly mentioned).
After lunch we went to the impressive Giant's Causeway; even if we could have stayed there for a whole day, the time we spent there was enough to see how fabulous the Causeway really is.
As a die hard GoT fan, I can say the locations tour was really amazing, and it showed that Derek also is a great fan of the series (he even tries to get you to tell him some spoiler from the books about things that still haven't aired in the show, haha). You also get to see small clips from the show (no spoilers there) so that when you arrive at the GoT location, you can really appreciate the beautiful landscape and know that you're standing on the exact same place that was shown in the series, which is really cool.
On our way back, Derek tried to accommodate everyone by dropping us off at (or close enough) hotels and the train station, taking into consideration planes and trains departure times, which was a nice detail on his part.
At the end of the day, you bring back home really good memories, amazing photographs and even a tour guide friend!
I really enjoyed the day trip, and would do it all over again next time I go back to Northern Ireland, it's totally worth it!
We didn't get really lucky with the weather conditions. It started out well enough, but soon it became really foggy, so we didn't really get to appreciate the landscape as we expected (we never saw the Blasket Islands, for example). Even so, Ray, our tour guide and driver, did his absolute best so that we could make the most of the trip (even showing us pictures so that we could kind of "imagine" the islands in front of us behind the fog). We did a few 15-minute stops (like at Inch beach), then at Dingle for lunch, and then Ray decided to get off-route and take us to a lake viewpoint for some landscape views (I don't remember the name of the place, unfortunately). I'd like to take the tour again during a sunny day to be able to appreciate the real charm of the land (even if what we experienced was real irish weather, after all).
Absolutely great! I was promptly picked up from the hostel where I was staying and soon we were on our way with Demian, our tour guide and driver. He was very much familiar with the landscape, history, geography, even fairy tales... and he was terribly funny when talking about it! We made some 15-minute stops to take some pictures, had lunch at Doolin and then went to the fabulous Cliffs of Moher. On our way back, we had a couple more stops, always great landscapes, great photography opportunities and of course great memories to bring back home. I really enjoyed the day trip, and would do it all over again next time I go back to Ireland!

Good trip, but not very enlightening tour. They just take you to the locations, provide audio guides and give you time to tour for yourself. Worth doing if you do not care for a little background history, but one could easily do this kind of tour for oneself by train or the like.

Much variety on a three-day pass. The downside is that, even in summer, many attractions close early in the afternoon (5pm, 6pm), so sometimes you don't get to do many of them on the sale day. The transport pass is an absolute must.
I only did the second part of the tour (Ghent and Brugges). The tour guide was very correct and serious, could talk in Spanish, English, French and Dutch. Maybe a little more insight about each place would have been nice, such as curious details and not things that we could have read on internet.
