San Francisco, California
For this tour, if you want to be picked up from your hotel, it doesn't matter if you have indicated the pick-up location at the time of booking, you have to make a call confirming your pick-up location. I think that a confirmation by email would be much more convenient. I used Viator tours before in other countries and this is how it was done. It is not always easy to find a phone to make a local call plus it can happen that someone has booked the tour on the same day of his arrival into the city.
I liked this half day tour though. We first stopped at one viewpoint over the GGB, then proceeded into the Muir Woods. In the wood we walked by ourselves for one hour and a half. The distances are much shorter that those indicated on the map that they gave us at the entrance. It was a great experience walking under these majestous trees!
We then went to Sausalito, that was simply lovely! The guide suggested us where to eat a great homemade hamburger. I ate this amazing hamburger on a bench in front of the sea - it was a preferct day. I then left the group, I didn't come back with them. I enjoyed the afternoon in Sausalito and then went back to SF by ferry. It has been a very pleasant sunny and relaxing afternoon.

At the pick-up location the guide looked at my voucher and said that I wasn't on their coach. Fortunately I asked him a second time when also the driver was there and the driver confirmed that I had to board on that coach! I would have missed the tour if I didn't insist.
The coach was open-top, I was upstairs, I was freezing, but enjoying a beautiful view. The guide was funny and knowledgeable, he was speaking using a microphone, but becasue of the wind it was diffult to hear him well.
The view from Treasure Island was breathtaking.

It was totally worthed! Excellent organization and excellent guide (Eylad)! In the morning we visited Jerusalem and it has been really interesting. In this afternoon Dead Sea! We haven't spent much time at the Dead Sea, about 2h, but there were 41 degrees and it is not really that you can stay in the water too long, it doesn't take long to start burning! So everything was fine. The only thing I didn't like was the lunch at the Dead Sea, it wasn't good at all and expensive! and not typical neither :/
