My Review: Because our hotel was nerby the show location, we were never picked up , never told about it, and were informed to make our own way to the show location if we wanted to attend (after having already paid for it). Once there, we were put into a dark corner at the back of the room with a poor view of anything. The food was ok, the service terrible. The show itself though, of what I could see, was quite good and that's why I'm giving this review 3 stars instead of 0.

My Review: The tour was extensive, and the guide was very knowledgeable and answered our many questions. My only regret was that we didn't stay longer in the gorgeous Recoleta cemetary.

Lisbon City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

My Review: I have been to many countries and have been on many variations of the hop-on-hop-off tours and this one has got to be one of the worst. First, on the day before I was to go on this tour, I called the office to confirm it as requested on the voucher. The guy that answered the phone proceeded to tell me that he had no computer and that I'd have to call him the next day. I did call the next day and he said that the closest stop to my hotel was the Rossio Square stop. I asked where at the square since it's a large one. He told me that the stop was in front of the Theatre there and that the bus ran every 30 minutes and to look for a red City-tour bus. We went to the square and there was no stop anywhere. Lots of stops for public transit and other tour companies. We looked around the whole square like fools until we had to call the office once more. The man was surprised when I told him that there was no stop in front of the theatre. He had me run around in circles looking for a stop. After 45 minutes the bus finally showed up and stopped at a phone booth - go figure. I got on the bus and asked the guide where the stops were. She told me that the this tour did not have any stops. How any one is supposed to know where to wait is beyond me. Once we got on and went to the second floor of the bus, we couldn't hear the guide. We tried telling the guide but she didn't seem to be interested. We got off on one stop, we did our thing and waited.

My Review: The countryside was lovely, and Mount Pilatus was breathtaking, but this was not a guided tour as advertised. We had to basically wing it on our own, which was not what we expected or paid for.

My Review: The pick-up was perfectly fine, however the driver told me that the hotel that we were being driven to did not have a booking for us which didn't turn out to be true. I was a bit freaked out on the drive to the hotel because of that which wasn't necessary at all.
