This was a great tour combining a historical walking overview of the city and chocolate! We enjoyed learning about the city and had chocolate tastings throughout the walk. Our host, Mark, was very knowledgeable and quite the chocolate connosseur himself. We were taken to a private apartment where we met Eva, our chocolate instructor. We made our own chocolate creations while learning of the history of chocolate and the important role Brussels plays in the chocolate industry. Very enjoyable tour. There is quite a bit of walking on uneven pavement and many stairs, so it is not a tour for anyone who is physically impaired.

Great tour guide and great sights of the city
What a tour!! We could not have asked for a better tour. We not only got to taste delicious samplings of food but also learned a lot of history about the French Quarter. Even tho it was a nasty, cold, rainy day our guide didn't let it deter her...it was onward and upward with all her knowledge. If you want to sample great food and learn a lot of interesting and old facts about the French Quarter, take this tour!!
Ate and walked for 31/2 hours. Loved our guide and the information she provided. LOVED, LOVED the food!
We would highly recommend this tour for lovers of chocolate and sweets. I have been on different food tours before and often they tell you what you can try. On this tour, while there are a selection of wonderfuls places you visit, you actually get to choose the flavour of the chocolate/mararon/caramel etc that you try. This makes the experience enjoyable for all as there are plenty of options to choose from. Our tour guide was also wonderful making the day even more enjoyable. Location of the tour is very easy to find and the 2pm start time that we had meant that lunch was not required. There is plenty to keep you satisfied on the tour. Take some water or drink if you require. There isnt really much opportunity to stop for beverages

Just did this last week and it was a very funevening! I was the only one with tolga (the guide), most likely because it was off season. Really enjoyed my meal with the family. The mom was so sweet and the lil kids entertaining. They didnt speak eng as it was forewarned but the guide did a good job of mediating conversation. One neice was there, spoke eng, and I ended up getting along really well with her and even hung out with her the following days. It was a perfect start to my weeklong trip. Would recommend this to everyone!
We had a great time. It was interesting and learnt some new things. The tour was relaxing and we had a lot of laughs., Tour guide was great and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. If you want a easy going -shorter outing, we would recommend this one.The only problem we had was restraining ourselves from buying too much!!
Doing what: Sydney Gourmet Food Tour
I did not feel that this tour was a good value for the money. The food that we ate on the tour was nothing special. I could have gotten the same things much cheaper by simply going to one of the restaurants around Recoleta cemetery. The guide tried hard to make this fun, but she spoke very poor English and had a hard time understanding and responding to our questions. My husband and I felt that we would've had a better time simply going out for dinner on our own.

After all of the great reviews for this tour I was generally shocked and very disappointed with the tour we received at the end of February 2014. The food, wine, and company of others on the tour was great but our guide was a huge disappointment. We learned virtually nothing about the food and simply followed her as we walked around but it was in no way a "walking tour." Our guide took us to the famous food market but told us we should just come back in our own time. We were offered no description of the food we were eating and when pressed she would offer the obvious - it's a piece of tomato on top of bread. I was hoping to gain a better understanding of the food, culture around eating, and art of ordering tapas on the tour. We left sorely disappointed. For the high cost of the tour I was expecting so much more. This tour was not insightful at all. Look for another food tour in Barcelona.

Absolutely spectacular. The countryside venues chosen for breakfast and lunch were simply charming, and served up plenty of delicious foods typical of the area which you might not experience in town. Delicious food + fascinating winery tour = amazing tour. Many thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Jordi!
A very relaxed tour, with tasty tappas, good wine, and interesting guide. A great way to spend the evening- and the Flamenco show was truly amazing.
Lance was a great tour guide! He gave us helpful tips about the area and fun places to check out.
