It was OK bat, bat we didn't see the family FIRE WORK , was sailing some where so we can't see, and my biggest disappointment was THERE WAS NO TEA OR COFFEE! Can you able to see any party or social gathering with out a tea or coffee????? well am not and that was the first in MY WHO'LL LIFE!!!

We booked the 35+ group and everyone I spoke to was in their mid to late twenties. The boat was really overcrowded (was advised there were 160 people on board) and its just a city ferry boat so we were all inside.. There is standing room for about 5 people at the end of the boat. Not worth the money

This is the second time I have done the NYE party cruise and I was more than a little disappointed this time around. Although we were on the 35+ boat, the group was more like 50+!! The DJ was terrible and catered for older music only, disregarding our requests. The atmosphere was very different because of the older demographic and not as 'fun'

The New York sky line and fire works at the Statue of Liberty were spectacular five star.
However the disco was too loud and played some obscene songs. The food was sparse and there was an enormous queue for the bar. The DJ did not start the New Year count down until five secs before New Year so the build up was somewhat lost. I think the champayne was wine and lemonade and this was not given to us just left on the table for us to collect and was unanounced.I accept that on New Year things are a bit more expnesive but I would have paid more for better quality food, drink, entertainment and seating with a table I wasn't expecting the seating to be in rows. In short the idea, lcocation and fire works were absolutley amazing. The food,drink, facilities and atmosphere was basic.

This trip is not for the older person. It is aimed at a younger generation.
The disco had a monosalabic beat and New Year came and went in a flash. a
quick verse of old lang syne and back to the beat. Fireworks , the boat was bow on
so making it hard to see the display.
Not a event to repeat.

This being a tour I thought we would of all been together as a group, me being a one, was sitted right in the middle of the restaurant on a little table all by myself. Maybe it should be mentioned on the sitting configuration, I would not have booked it, was stared at all night very uncomfortable.

Food layout was fantastic.
Boat was too small, felt like cattle in a herd. Silver package was crammed in with gold package. Operator said, because not that many tickets were sold. So silver package got a free upgrade, which I didn't mind, good for them, but not crammed in. Will not use this operator

Great view of fireworks! Disappointed with disorganised staff at beginning! Almost missed the cruise lots of confusion. Toilets disgusting! Hot drinks and night was not worth $389 for 2 people. Overall 3/10!

Disappointed with the boat. Was very small, couldn't stand up without hitting your head on the roof. Not enough room to go outside and enjoy the fireworks. Had to line up in a long line every time you wanted a drink. Had to eat your food off your lap. Boat needed to be bigger. Would not recommend.

Doing what: Oahu New Year's Eve Fireworks Cruise
The cruise was a disaster. First of all, we were waiting for the ride, and the bus didn't come, so we had to spend extra $30 for the taxi cab. Then, the ship moved away from the pier for about 100 yards, and that's it. The food was very plain. The music, and especially, the singer - terrible. Drinks - just water and juice. Extremely overpriced!
One extra star is for the firework, which was very close.

What an amazing experience, probably never to be repeated again. My husband and I and daughter and new partner from Australia absolutely adored the night and the atmosphere and new friends we made. Thank-you New York for turning on the good weather.
