Doing what: Private Tour: Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary Day Tour from Kuala Lumpur
The tour of the elephant sanctuary was fantastic. It was very informative and the tour guide that took us there Ai was great and went out of his way to show us different things along the way. He was very helpful and accommodating which made the tour so much more enjoyable. The guide at the sanctuary was also great and although not advertised if the conditions are right you are actually able to get into the river and bath the baby elepbhants. The experince was very rewarding and i would reccommend the tour to anyone.

Doing what: Aquila Game Reserve Wildlife Safari from Cape Town
We had a great time. We saw all of the Big 5 close up and personal, especially the elephants, their clash with the rhinos (the rhinos the winners), and finally the lions at feast. There were also the hippopotami in and out of their pool, and in the latter situation getting very nervous when a delicate little impala came tripping up to the water for a drink. The guide could have been clearer for the folk at the back of the truck, apparently, but we were seated up front, which was a great listening as well as viewing platform. Good breakfast and lunch at the hotel, and really the only criticism is the length of time we had to wait after breakfast was over for the tour to start; a bit wearing when we had made a very early start indeed from Cape Town (2 hours away). The drive through the Franschhoek mountains and the Heck valley was beautiful both ways.

Doing what: Phuket Half-Day Safari Tour
even though it was torrential rain we still thoroughly enjoyed this tour.it was a nice touch that the elephant mahout gave us an umbrella so it was quite unique riding an elephant with an umbrella.the rest of the tour was very informative and not at all boring which i thought it might be. the food on the boat trip was very good too.

Not worth the travel there. One giraffe, one buffolo, 6 zebra, one oryx, two elephants, etc etc. A trip to the local zoo would have been better. PA system on troop carrier was inefficient and those at the back could not hear.

Doing what: Private Tour: Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary Day Tour from Kuala Lumpur
We were picked up at our hotel right on time. We were the only people on the tour so we had a wonderful time with our tour leader (sorry, forgot his name) who could not do enough to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Feeding the deer and looking at the other animals in the private zoo was fun but the elephant sanctuary was great. The video shown to visitors showing the plight of these wonderful animals is very moving. Getting close and hand feeding the elephants is an amazing experience and watching the older elephants have their play time in the river was great fun. I went in the river with the young elephant and it was fantastic to be able to help bath it. I don't know who got the wettest - the elephans of the visitors! all in all a terrific experience, highly recommended and many thanks to our tour guide for making our day so memorable.

If you manage to get Lo as your tour guide - you are lucky! He is fantastic and ran a great day for us. The Elephant Sanctuary was great, we got to feed the elephants and you can bathe with them if you wish.
Definitely worth getting out of KL to visit the elephant sanctuary and deerland.

Doing what: Khao Sok Full Day Jungle Safari from Phuket
It was good. personally I am not regretful to doing that despite long hours being on the way. I really enjoys elephant trekking and canoing. The museum wan not a real museum though. It was just a ship left from tsunami time.

Doing what: Elephant Trek, Rafting and Hilltribe Village Tour from Chiang Mai
Great hand on tour where you get to ride elephants through the jungles of chiang mai, and raft down the ping river. The only confusing part about my time on the tour is that we did mot visit any hilltribes as promised, with the exception being the mock up of a hilltribe village halfway through the elephant trek. Would of rated this tour four or five stars if it was not for the missing out on the hilltribe visits.

Doing what: Private Tour: Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary Day Tour from Kuala Lumpur
Disappointing as didn't see the elephants bath, deer park well I can see the domestic animals at home, chooks, ferretts, rabbits and guinea pigs. I felt the tour guide was trying to fill in time by driving very slow.
Note from Viator: Note from Viator: Thank you for your review. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your tour. Unfortunately, activities with the elephants are no longer offered due to Malaysian animal safety laws. Thank you for helping us ensure the quality of our tours.

Doing what: River Safari Experience in Singapore
Whilst the tour guide was wonderful, and the concept of this park is great, it is still incomplete with many exhibits not yet containing the animals, and also the river cruise part not yet operational. In years to come this may be great, but it has a long way to go to be as good as the Zoo, Night Safari or Zoo

Doing what: Elephant Trek, Rafting and Hilltribe Village Tour from Chiang Mai
This is was the best excursion we did in Bangkok, Phuket or Chiang Mai. Our guide was Khun Roong who spoke great English, she was very knowledgeable and friendly. This is a must do if you go to Chiang Mai.

Doing what: Private Tour: Elephant Orphanage Sanctuary Day Tour from Kuala Lumpur
We were not able to get near the Elephant due to flooding. It rained a lot weeks before our arrival in Kuala Lumpur but we have a good time touring the outskirts of the city. Our guide was so nice to compensate what we miss in the Elephant Sanctuary by stopping on some interesting veiw points and one of those point was with the local monkeys. We have a good pics of them. Nexr rime we plan to ask for Devva as our guide. He sure knows how to make a trip interesting. Thank you,
Nerissa and John
