Very good, however there was some question over whether we could get in the river with the baby elephants. Initially we were told not although some other people clearly did. Eventually we were allowed to. This needs to be clarified for future visitors.

Doing what: Elephant Trekking in Pattaya
This trip is worth doing as an introduction to elephant trekking - its not out in the "wild" as such but the elephants are wonderful as are their drivers. You get some nice refreshment at the end as well. Certainly i will do a longer trek next time - whetted my appetite for this activity.

Doing what: Aquila Game Reserve Wildlife Safari from Cape Town
The driver that collected us to the hotel and then took us to the game reserve didn't speak to us and tell us the timings of the day which was annoying as to begin with we felt that we were in the dark about where to go and what to do. The game reserve trip itself was excellent and breakfast and lunch was delicious.

We had a very enjoyable day overall. Our tour guide was quite informative, although we were under the impression that he did not usually conduct this tour. We were disappointed that we did not go to the deer park or visit the nomadic village, but being able to feed the beautiful elephants in such a lovely environment was well worth the money.

Doing what: Sampran Elephant Ground and Zoo Tour from Bangkok
We were picked up from our hotel fine but on the way home they took us to a gem gallery. We no longer felt safe with the tour guides so we left and had to pay for our own taxi home. Not impressed!

This was the most amazing experience. Got picked and had our own tour guide for the 4 of us. Elephant show excellent make sure you have small change for tips. Best of all was getting photo taken with 2 tigers for approx £2.50 would recommend this trip

Crazy experience but a must do, ther are many opportunities to do this, photoessays are great but guides at mid point pull a tray of cheap plastic jewelry and give a sales pitch....... Not good

It was great, great fun, everything good. A bit expensive for half day. Also two details untrue: (1) no swimming with the elephants just elephant shower and (2) instead of lunch and dinner it was breakfast and lunch (which is actually better because then we had a half day free back in the hotel)

An outstanding day trip, not a safari but if you only have a short time to see animals in the wild this is great. Hospitality and food was superb.
