Adelaide City Package

Welcome to Adelaide, the 'City of Churches'. This four day package offers you 3 nights accommodation at your choice of either a deluxe hotel, first class hotel or tourist class hotel. Receive roundtrip private car transfers to and from Adelaide Airport and a day tour to the Barossa Valley, one of Australia's premier wine regions. Taste some of Australia's finest wines and learn of the region's rich European culture, showcased by German and English-style villages, churches and chateaux.

There is also the choice of two day trips to Kangaroo Island. With its abundance of wildlife, natural environment, pure air and clean water, Kangaroo Island is one of the last unspoiled wonders of the world.

Upon arrival in Adelaide, you will be met by your transfer driver at either the main exit from customs if arriving on an international flight, or at the arrivals gate near the baggage claim area if arriving on a domestic flight. You will be transferred by private car to your selected Adelaide hotel. On check in to your hotel, please collect your additional travel documentation from the hotel receptionist. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Adelaide / Barossa Valley / Adelaide (L)Travel to the world renowned wine growing district of the Barossa Valley. Enjoy lunch and tasting at Kaesler Winery. Travel through the old mill town of Woodside and the Adelaide Hills dotted with quaint villages to Hahndorf, Australia's oldest German settlement. Leisure time is available in Hahndorf.

Day 3: At Adelaide (L)
Today you can select one of the following optional tours to Kangaroo Island.

Optional Full Day 4WD Tour on Kangaroo Island, including roundtrip flights:
Depart on a thirty minute flight from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island where you will be met by your Adventure Charters of Kangaroo Island driver / guide. Join your 4WD vehicle for a full day tour of Kangaroo Island. Highlights include Sygnet River Valley to see Koalas. Travel through wool producing land to the North Coast to arrive at Lathani Conservation Park, where you will see the Glossy Black Cockatoo and wildlife. Enjoy a seafood barbeque lunch before heading south to Parndana Town which is a soldier settlement. Continue to the South Coast to Seal Bay to see the seals and then onto D'Estrees Bay to see Kangaroos and if time permitting, visit the Osprey's nests. Tour includes a homebaked morning tea and lunch with South Australian wines, beer and soft drinks. All National Parks and Wildlife Service admission fees are also included.

Optional Full Day Coach Tour on Kangaroo Island, including roundtrip flights:
Depart on a thirty minute flight from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island where you will be met by your driver / guide. Join your coach for a full day tour of Kangaroo Island including Flinders Chase National Park and Rocky River Homestead to view the wildlife. Before lunch, visit Remarkable Rocks and Admiral's Arch, the turbulent waters around Casuarina Islets where fur seals play. Following lunch at Beckwith's Farm, your tour stops at Seal Bay National Park where you can walk amongst the sea lions, before returning to Kingscote Airport for the flight back to Adelaide. Tour includes admission fees and barbeque lunch.

Day 4: Depart Adelaide
