Adelaide tour was fantastic. Terrific coach driver who was able to tell us all we needed to know. We had travelled to Adelaide by train and as we didn't want to hire a car this was a great way to see the city and get our bearings of where things were.
The city tour gave us a good introduction to the main sites of interest in the city and the driver was full of interest facts. Worth doing on your first day in Adelaide.
I was picked up promptly from my hotel. Phil, the driver who also conducted the bus tour, was very informative and helpful. We got caught up by the Adelaide Marathon which made it hard for him to keep to time since some roads were closed, but Phil showed us everything. We didn't feel at all rushed at any point. The river cruise was pleasant, and the boat stopped right next to the Zoo for those who were going on there afterwards. I would thoroughly recommend this tour as a good introduction to Adelaide.
Comfortable coaches, informative commentary, efficient service, easy to deal with. A most enjoyable day. Thanks.
At the end of the tour You can stay at the Zoo as much as you want,. I enjoy My day in Adelaide with Viator
Well organised, interesting tour. Guide was very friendly and informative.
I really enjoyed this tour! The driver was very informative and funny. He explained everything in detail. We visited an Trinity Church which was fascinating. Oh, and the trip to Haigh's chocolates.....what bliss. Unlike other tours (Cadbury Chocolate Factory in Hobart), you get to see into the factory complex and the tour guide from Haighs was very informative. You get to have a coffee/tea while there and, of course, try and buy chocolates. I then travelled on the 'popeye' and loved the commentary on board. It was a great tour overall and I'd go again. Just one word of warning though - it is important to phone and check the tour the day before. When I did so, my booking - although confirmed - wasn't showing.
I absolutely thoroughly enjoyed my morning tour of Adelaide City highlights, our coach driver, Dave was very funny, entertaining and knowledgeable. My most favourite section of the morning was a visit to the Haigh's chocolate factory.
I convinced my 18 year old daughter that we should see more than the One-Day Cricket match and shops, and we weren't disappointed. Very easy going and relaxed tour that gave us a chance to see and become familiar with Adelaide. The visit to Light's Tower and Glenelg were the highlights. Our driver (and guide) was very knowledgeable and eager to share this. Highly recommended.
The half day tour fitted our requirement well and the trip was comfortable and imformative. We would confidently recommend it to anyone in the same position.
Great thing to do once you first get to the city just to get your bearings initially. Very helpful and knowledgeable drivers.
The tour was informative and the visit to the chocolate factory was a highlight.
The sightseeing tour was very informative, with plenty of time to stop and take pictures. The trip to the Haig chocolate factory was a must. Free chocolates all round, what more could a girl want!
An absolute must for any one in Adelaide for a short period. The guide was excellent.
Loved the tour - loved Adelaide. Only downside was that somehow I missed the very important point that the tour ended at the zoo, not at our hotel. Unexpectedly having to get the bus back with a hot and exhausted 6-year-old boy was tough!
Was well planned and covered most of the attractions in adelaide. First half of our tour was not sunny so it was pleasant (both the bus tour and river cruise) but by the time we reached the zoo it was sweltering and do ensure you carry your umbrellas, sunscreens etc..Overall a good trip and a good way to spend your day in adelaide.
Part of our trip was cancelled due to the weather ....The tour around Adelaide was very good.
WE took this tour to give us a better idea of the lay out and what there was to see in Adelaide. It was well worth while. Our tour guide was friendly and very informative even adding on extra information that made the tour more a chat with a friend vs a talk off a sheet. well done. Note that not all buses have a lift facility for those that have difficulty with high steps. Most passengers managed well, if slowly but no one seemed to mind.
This is a great way to get an overview of beautiful Adelaide. The architecture is wonderful and you will get a great appreciation of the history of this city. You will tour around the city itself, see some of the main sights including the fascinating chocolote factory - all chocolates hand made at Haigh's , free samples too! Then you will gravel to Glenelg beach, where you can take in the beach, jetty and marina. There's plenty of time and its an interesting tour.
Great tour of the city tour guide was fun with jokes tour well presented
Our driver was most informative and we learnt a lot about the history of Adelaide and it's historic buildings.
The bus pick up and hotel pick up was a bit odd but the tour part was very well informed and organized. The city was made to seem a little bigger then we thought when we arrived. NICE!
Enjoyed the tour, bus driver was informative and knowledgeable and the bus was clean and obviously new. Only downside - our driver could only drop us back to one of a few 'central locations', rather than return us to the hotel where we were collected from earlier that morning. Given we had just arrived in Adelaide and didn't know the city (hence reason why we were on tour) I would have preferred if we could be returned to the same pick-up point.
