Fabulous all day tour. Matt was a great tour guide, able to answer all of the guests questions. Lots of walking. Each village had it's own unique charm. Getting out into the countryside was a real treat.
This trip through the Luberon took us from one spectacular town or village to another with scenery as beautiful as anywhere we have been. Our guide, Leah, was informative and personable. It was a great day!
One of our favourite excursions. We had a wonderful day visiting the most beautiful villages. Our guide Paco was amazing, giving us the history of the area and was so accommodating and friendly. He stopped at each village giving us an idea of the best places to see and after discussing a time frame, left us to wander at our own pace which we prefer. Without a car this is the best way to experience a large area of the luberon area. We highly recommend!
Fantastic experience. Our guide was friendly and informative. His suggestions on what to see in each town we visited, including answering general questions about the area, helped us enjoy our day in the Luberon even more. This tour experience provides the right blend of guided tour with opportunity to explore each picturesque town on our own. Highly recommend this tour.
Loved this tour! Lea was a fabulous tour guide and the villages we visited were gorgeous.
Fabulous tour! Lea, our tour guide was very informative. There was ample time to visit all the cities. The only recommendation to give is that microphone be used while in the car. It was quite difficult at times to hear the guide in the car.
A wonderful trip which lets you see so many beautiful villages without the hassle of driving and parking yourself!
Breathtaking scenes and a delightful tour guide. We did something unexpected that totally delighted our van--we stopped at a farmer's market table along the road side for the fresh-grown cherries, just off the tree. Roussillon was my favorite town, but frankly, they were all so pretty.
Our guide was experienced and friendly which made the tour pleasant. Time at each village stop was sufficient to take in the beautiful sights. It would have been great if we had a photo stop at the Pont Julien. It was also a pity that the abbey stop was skipped as the lavender were harvested.
This is by far my favorite tour I've been on. The scenery was stunning and has me quite literally dreaming of lavender fields and the hillside city of Gordes constantly. Our tour guide Renault was incredibly charasmatic, intelligent and super kind. He made everyone in the group feel very at ease.
This day was an excellent and full day of the Luberon Villages. The guide was excellent - accommodating and informative. We had enough time to walk around the villages and experience the atmosphere. Overall a really good day and well worth doing.
Wonderful tour guide - Lis? time to wander the markets, see the lavendar and sunflower fields, wander through ancient streets and see some wonderful panoramas from several vantage points. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who does not want to rent a car but wants to see some of the exceptional towns in Provence in a day. Only thing missing - Les Carrieres des Lumineres in Les Beau en Provence. Found it impossible to get there without a car or a scheduled tour. A good reason to return.
Our first trip on arriving in Aix, it gave a wonderful first impression of the area. I loved the quaint towns and markets. We took three tours with this company and they are reliable friendly and enjoyable.
This was a fantastic trip. Our guide, Renauld, was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. We would thoroughly recommend this trip.
This tour was really enjoyable. Relaxed with plenty of free time to wander in the villages. Lots of relevant information from our well informed tour guide, Leah. Very highly recommended
Caroline was our tour guide and excellent. She really provided a very god overview of the many villages we visited. Since you would need a car to visit this area, I considered a very good value and a nice day away from beautiful Aix.
The lady managing the tour - Helen - was marvelously friendly and knowledgeable. She made us feel at home and created a warm and pleasant atmosphere on the tour. Her advice was invaluable and her assistance outstanding. We have taken other excellent tours with Viator - Amsterdam, England, etc. - but this tour was the absolute best.
Wonderful tour guide - Vanessa thanks for your great tour. We enjoyed the trip a lot and she even take interest to remember our name!
The villages of Luberon were incredibly beautiful, even in the down season. Our tour guide, Guile was amazing at answering any questions we had and was very conscientious about the safety when we stopped to take pictures along the ledge. I would recommend this trip, but suggest if possible to visit when the weather is warmer so the villages will be more lively.
Fabulous tour of the beautiful Luberon Villages - with a wonderful young Guide Lia - we had a great time and would recommend this tour.
It was a very small, private tour with just 4 people, an amazing and cheerful tour guide. They took us to different villages giving us a taste of what Provence is all about. Would recommend it to veryone going to Aix-en-Provence.
There were two vans that morning. Our van had a tour guide and 5 passengers. Although we signed up for the English-speaking guide, we listened to everything repeated in Spanish, all day long. We appreciate the desire of our very nice male guide to please all of his charges. Unfortunately, a woman from Argentina did not care about others and did not suggest to the guide that she understands English well enough (I know she did!). I would like to suggest to Viator to pay better attention to composition of the group. We feel we wasted a lot of time listening to everything translated to Spanish. otherwise, the tour is lovely, and places we visited would be hard to see without a car.
