The Yukon Sightseeing Tour will awe you with the natural beauty of Southeast Alaska and Canada's British Columbia and Yukon Territory. Join an optional ATV ride, try your hand at gold panning or meet the adorable Huskies preparing for the Yukon Quest dog sled race.
Arriving at Emerald Lake, the turnaround point of this scenic Yukon adventure, your guide will gladly take your picture overlooking the beautiful lake (as with all stops, your guide is always happy to assist you in capturing your memories on film). Next, stop at the Caribou Crossing Trading Post and Museum where you can relax and enjoy a tasty, satisfying lunch. Baked chicken with bbq sauce, baked potato, coleslaw, dinner rolls, donuts and coffee - Yukon style!
After lunch, visit one of the most spectacular wildlife museums in the North Country. As you stroll through the 9,000 sq ft museum, you will find the quality of their wildlife exhibits to be truly remarkable. The museum's exhibits range from Ice Age specimens to animals more recently introduced into the Yukon. Also, included are exotic animals from both the arctic and sub-arctic regions of Alaska and the Yukon, as well as from around the world.
Take a stroll through the museum grounds and browse through the gift shop, or join one of the fun filled, family oriented optional activities available including ATV Ride, Husky Hike, Gold Panning or a Dog Cart Ride (see "Itinerary" below for details).
Time permitting, your next two stops will be at the Carcross Desert, the world's smallest desert and the shores of crystal clear Bennett Lake. There you will can skip a few stones across the water, take pictures and learn about the historic Klondike Gold Rush. Postcard quality photo stops and possible wildlife sightings await as you journey back to Skagway.

Panning for Gold and Puppy Camp (15 mins): Imagine the thrill of the Klondike prospector at the first sight of gold in the pan. This thrill can be yours as you learn the finer points of gold panning. After you stash your gold, there will be time to socialize with some cuddly racing puppies.
Dog-Cart Ride (15 mins): Ed and Michelle invite you to join them as they prepare their dogs for the worlds toughest dogsled race, the Yukon Quest. Feel the excitement of riding with an experienced dogsled musher over cut trails through the Yukon wilderness.
Husky Hike (60 mins): Your guide and at least one husky will lead this hiking adventure into the Carcross Desert. While hiking through the desert, your guide may talk about traditional foods and medicines, native plants and wildlife, trading trails or tell a story relating the history of their ancestors.
Mushing Camp (30 mins): After a 15 minute presentation on mushing/racing, Ed and Michelle invite you to join them as they prepare their dogs for the worlds toughest dogsled race, the Yukon Quest. Feel the excitement of riding with an experienced dogsled musher over cut trails through the Yukon wilderness.
ATV Ride (15, 30, or 60 mins): Your guide will give you a short safety presentation as you prepare to ride a new ATV through the Carcross Desert. You and your ATV partner will follow your guide over and around sand dunes, stopping to take pictures and to change drivers.
